About the Polygiro
Polygiro is an annual cycling tour organized by the EPFL, INPG and POLITO Torino. 2009 will be the fourth edition of the Polygiro. It will be held over 5 days and will cover approximately 600 km (without the prologue) full of interesting, beautiful and historic routes in France (Isère, Drôme and Ardèche).
The Mission
The aim of the Polygiro is to bring together students and employees of the three Polytechnics through the medium of cycling. This provides a unique opportunity to the participants to interact in a sporting environment and to build new relations.
Cycling for all! It’s for all of us!
The Polygiro is an event for all levels of cyclists ranging from the elite to the ones who are riding just for the fun and pleasure of it. The past edition had many leisure riders completing the race even to their surprise. The organizers make sure that all categories of riders are taken care-off and that the cost of the race is kept to a minimum (
CHF 200 or EUR 130 for the students and CHF 300 or EUR 200 for the rest).
